This thread made me remember seeing the Su-37 on TV in the late 1990s when I was very young. It was unique in that it was at the only jet fighter able to perform a loop within its own length.

Only one was ever built, which was destroyed in a crash in 2002. The pilot apparently ejected and landed safely.
