Hello
Anyone can help me with docs about this subcaliber device?
I think used in 2pounder antintank gun to fire .22 cartridge. But as you can see there is a plug, maybe forced inside.
Any help will be appreciated
Best regards

The “plug” I think is the striker piece.

I think I am correct in saying that the chamber in the rear of the sub-caliber round accepts a .22 rimfire cartridge, followed by a separate striker piece. The gun’s firing pin hits the striker piece and that then hits the rim on the .22 cartridge.

The barrel within the sub-caliber round is rifled, so it would be considered a firearm within the UK.
