Hello everyone,
I'm looking for information on this submunition found in Yemen. I'm thinking of an American version,based on the marking.

Looks like DPICM (Artillery or MLRS) submunition, but there's no "M8310A2" that I know of. Supposed M number WAY out of sequence
 
It doesn't look U.S. The fuzing section is different and the body is different where the fuze attaches.
 
And why not a Chinese version, as the following models look pretty similar to the photo: ZH-39 or ZP39A?

It's South African as far as I can tell. I can't say which carrier projectile it is from, as there are a few candidates.
