Does anyone have more info on the Swiss B.WK.34 grenade ?

Lex' site does not mention more than the name...

I already found out the "B.WK.34" stands for "Brombenzyl Wurfkrper 1934" and according the markings it's made as Lot P7 in 1934...

The grenade is a metal cylinder, diameter 46.5mm, and 120mm height (w/o th efuze) and has a brass, bayonet-fitted cap.
It has a 2.5 sec. friction igniter and a cork lining that holds a (broken)glass vial on the inside

Anything extra is welcome.

Thanks.

I see this thread for the first time only now because the forum softwarfe is giving wrong info on new and old threads for years now. I am missing new postings and get others indicated as new though I been looking at right 5 mins before and nothing has changed since. This is boring!

All I can say about this one is that it has a huge glass ampoule inside (almost the shape of the grenade body. So be carefull and avoid dropping it accidentally.
