What were the contents of this tin used for?

What was the name of the manufacturer using the initials "PAM"?

What was the name of the manufacturer of the tin "PWO"?

Thanks in advance for any info.

PAM is Produktie Afdeling Munitie from the Royal Dutch Navy.
PWO is Progress-Werke Oberkirch AG, Germany

There's a nice story behind this container..
It contains 5 Shaped Charge Cutting tapes of 20cm length with the cap holder placed.
The cutting tape consists of 63 grams of Penthrite per meter.
The PAM 'Production department ammunition' was responsible fo packing munitions into 'smaller' containers from bulk shipments during the 1992..1997 period.

In order to conform to NATO standards a standard beltammo container Nr 86 made by PWO 'a German Metall Industrie in Oberkirch' was used and restickered with the PAM labels.

Hope this helps..

Thanks, that answers some of the questions.

What were these shaped charges actually used for?

Also, what did they look like? Do you have a photo or diagram of one?

cutting tape is used for demolition purposes.

Thanks, do you mean as in demolition during military operations or demolition of buildings. What are the charges actually used to "cut"?
