Digital photography allows for so much more detail. Tried taking pics of a missile launch, back in the day. A 35MM SLR Ricoh. All I got was a blurry smoke trail. I may have been a bit too close, but still. Now we can see "stop action" rounds(projectiles, excuse me) leaving the tube/barrel. Hell, I've even got slo-mo on my phone! How cool is that?
