USS Alabama BB-60. 16"/45cal Mark 6 guns. Some 5"/38 mounts. A few 40mm Bofors quad mounts. And a literal boat load of 20mm Oerlikons. Tons-o-guns.
My dear departed mom standing next to the 16" display projectile. For scale. She was 5/4.
Pic taken a long time ago. Like in the '70s. Before Katrina lopsided it. Not sure what it looks like today. May need to go back. Smell summa dat haze gray and red lead. Go Navy!
