This is a small size unit for 40-20mm cannons. I shoot with my 37mm cannons, so this keeps me from blowing myself up. I check the bores after each firing session. I have a spare if anyone needs it.

Sorry, I just now saw your post on this topic. I bought my M8 armored car as a relic without an engine or transmission in 1995. The gun barrel was even cut and rewelded, and I figured that out after I bought it - only cost $3000 at the time for new barrel. My M8 was issued to the Brazilian Expeditionary force for use in Italy in WWII. The Brazilian government took at least a dozen of these home with them after the war. My M8 was sold as surplus along with three others in the late 80's. A gentleman in Colorado bought it in 1991 but had health issues and sold it to me. I shipped it to Michigan and completely rebuilt it until 2000. I had to cut the rear hull to remove 7 inch spacers from the engine compartment. The Brazilians had them equipped with Mercedes diesel engines and had to lengthen the hulls. I pulled the worn engine from the hull of an derelict M8 from Southern Parts Corp. in Augusta Georgia in 1988 and rebuilt it. I spent three days there with my wife removing parts from old hulls to get what I needed. I am never doing that again.
