Thank you for posting these pictures, these islands are so heavily fortified. I have a few books covering these but have never had the chance to visit, El Fraile island The Concrete Battle Ship in Manilla harbour is another stunning fort to see if you get a chance to go there, complete with two 16 inch naval turrets perched on top. Thanks again for taking the time to show us, best regards Weasel.

very nice pictures seems a lot of big ordnance over there thanx for sharing

regards lee

Hi Sir Weasel...:) thanks for viewing photos.

Yes, El Fraile aka Fort drum(The Concrete Battle Ship) could be seen from corregidor's topside OR from spanish light house. I wanted to go there too that time, but it was to far for our tiny fishing boat to reach.

I should have got more pictures if my camera had extra batteries hahahaha...:) any way thanks again.

What a piece of World history. Thanks for sharing as so little attention seems to get paid to the Pacific Theater of operations. Bravo...Dano

Thanks lee, thanks dano...:) heres more photos from THE ROCK... Japanese 25mm AA hotchkiss ( one with me holding it)
