Do you have please some photos of WW2 3.7cm German rounds : Blank, or Drill or practice ? Pak or Flak .
Cases with wood , Bakelit , kunststoff , plastic.
Do you know if a case with wooden shell exist ?
I have seen a hollow wooden 3,7cm (german i think) . One driving band .
But i don't know if this is an official fabrication or built by somebody to complete a case.
J'ai pu constater que le gorge de sertissage sur le Pak est juste sous la ceinture, alors que sur le Flak, elle se situe plus bas. On peut constater aussi cela sur les douilles.
I have seen that the crimping groove on the Pak is just below the band, while on the Flak, it is lower. This can also be seen on the cases.
Sorry for reviving but I wanted to provide some more info on these - there appears to be 2 different types with minor differences. The French type have markings on them and are made fo good quality steel. Another type has a dished internal crown (sorry hard to describe) and is not possible at present to preserve as the steel is of bad quality and they always fall apart after a few months, I assume German copies? The French ones do not fall apart and survive well.
