Hi All,
looking for any info on this rocket motor???casing,only two fins remained until I cleaned it off then promply fell off!

looks like remains from a 66

Without knowing the diameter or length of the motor, it appears similar to the motor for the M72 series US LAW rocket.

It is 246mm long,55mm across at the 'nose' end and 60mm at the exhaust end and seems to be made of a lightweight alloy

Rocket Motor

It definitely appears to be a rocket motor from one of the Rocket 66mm HEAT M-72 family. The rocket motors used on the M72A4 to A6/A7 all use rocket motors of similar design with the 8 small steel fins. Earlier versions used 6 large aluminum fins.

I only have tech info on the M72A5 and the dimensions are slightly different, the outside dia of the motor body being 61mm and the outside dia of the nozzle 63mm.

The photo shows the rocket motor on the M72A5 (top) compared to the much small rocket motor used on the M72A3 (bottom).
