I have this 34x96mm round that looks nice but I have strong doubts it is real. The projectile is steel with a brass nose that has oner spanner hole in it. It has a copper rotating band, but it is pushed on a small diameter rear section and not seated like a regular band. The base of the projectile has two spanner holes and a screw in the center. Removing the screw shows a hole thru the base, but there is no primer pocket as such. A thin line runs through the centers of each spanner hole like it was used to put both holes in a straight line. A 25mm diameter hole extends 69mm into the projectile. The external profile of the projectile is also not typical since it not an armor piercing item. The OAL of the projectile is 97mm. The case is brass externally appears to be a normal case. However, the primer is machined out of the bas of the case and the interior of the case show no flash holes. The case rim diameter is 39mm and the OD of the neck is 34mm. OAL of the complete round is 176mm. I would like someone to prove me wrong, but I don't think it will happen.
