I show a tin for 10 Navy external Tracers No1 MkV1 from 1940.
These Tracers were used in 2Pr and 4.5" projectiles (any others?).
Filled at ROF Woolwich. Lot 41 4.40 Packed 6.40.
Dimensions of tin are 90mm diam x 71mm high.
The base is stamped: 111 N No 116. 2 metal discs stamped TOP go on top of the tracers when packed.
I show 2 label photos as EXTERNAL is lightly written under Tracers and hard to see.
Now I have to check if I have any spare tracers to put with this nice tin.
