With one side of the Capri metal work done ,now i have turned it around and have started the other side.

This side is far worse but with less floor pan rot there is some major form work to do.

Looks like you are doing a great job, vehicle restoration is a labour of love. I only wish I had the time to restore the love of my life, a J4 van, but I am renovating our bungalow.
A guy that works with my wife is restoring a Cortina Mk11 and he gets all the parts delivered to where they work so his wife dosen't know how much he is spending!!
That makes me giggle, why hide what you are spending, just don't let the taxman know.
Best wishes with the restoration, would like to see it when finished.

Best wishes,

Mike.

Thanks Mike, The Tina Mk2 was my next project but will have to wait for the right one Ie a nice early GT,which is slightly harder to find.
As for parts sourcing and the prices well best you dont keep a record of whats spent as it can and does add up.

The power of Ebay is a gold mine for all the hard to get parts.

All the best phil

You are doing a fantastic Job there Phil.

I only wish i could do as well with my old lowlight moggie. I hope you will keep this one for a while.
Also glad to hear from another thread that you rate the old BXs. Ive just bought 2 more Estates, hope to get a good runner out of the pair. If not, at least a load of spares.

Keep up the good work bud.

Andy
