I picked up two today, one more a toy than the other which is for display.
I have a few of these kinds of things so I think I'll post them for any one's interest,
I can't be the only kid on the site :tinysmile_hmm_t:

Not really into "toys" (probably because I use to break them all the day after Xmas :cry: )......... but I couldn't resist this beast!

The length is 24" and appears to have been fired at some stage.

Your cannon looks like a spanish manufactured "Napoleon" cannon model for Black-Powder. I have a nearly identical model. These have been sold here for decades. Yours seems to have been fired and not cleaned afterwards. This is not a toy, but a really nice miniature replica of a 19th century french gun. These are not cheap these days. You have to invest a few hundred $ for a new one.

I also had these cannon models when I started collecting. On the left the French Napoleon cal. 69 and the Prussian model also cal. 69. cost 160 DM in the 70s. I shot at the shooting range with both of them, it was great fun.

The big one is very nice, I never see those around here and anything of similar size is alway a stupendous price.
 
I came across this today, there seems to be as many personal versions
of what a cannon looked like as people who made them up. It has some age,
11 3/4" tube. I'm ready if the Chipmunks get out of hand ~ :xd:
