Transport box for 50 Grenades MK III IA

I got a wooden box, in poor condition, this should be atransportation box for 50 grenades MKIII IA, as faintly mentionned on the back of the box.
I will limit the retauration to cleaning, anti woodworm treatment, welding the brooken hinge and anti rust treatment for the metallic parts.

I have been told that this box was for 50 Mills grenades, how would the grenades be individually protected in that box, could anybody help me with this
