Here is a comparison of Tube Vents P Electric Mk111 and Mk111*
Brass tubes with 2 wires in grooves in the base. Both have been inerted and the damaged wads and powder removed as they were dug-up items.
Case length is 56mm (2.19"). Diameter is 9.8mm (0.378").
The Mk111* is not shown in D.Ibbetsons Vol 2 book on British Artillery Ammunition. I am not sure what was altered on the Mk111*.
