Found near the Dutch\German border, east of Groesbeek, the Netherlands
The photographs show two used VT T97 fuzes after spending 70 years in Dutch soil.
The blast caused a typical deformation of the fuzes, it took me a while before I could identify the objects
For comparison with new, undamaged fuzes, see this thread:
http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/71239-WWII-T80E6-VT-fuze
There is still some greenish plastic present, which belonged to the cap.
On one of the fuzes I could read some markings: 'T97', the rest of the markings is gone.
The fuzes must haven been fired between December 1944 and February 8, 1945, start of Operation Veritable.
