I need information on these 105mm Howitzer cases. Both have base key holes .
1. Steel case coiled with a steel base. The primer has a flange with 2 cut-outs so maybe the key holes help prevent the base from turning when the primer is tightened or removed? Base has white load data stencilled. Hard to read. Shell M1 How Dual G etc.
Primer marked: KN-6.415 M28B2. 1-54
Headstamp: 105MM M14E1 1953 RMO 1-108
2. Brass case with a screw-off steel primer plate and base plate. 12 mouth crimps. Is it fixed or Semi-fixed shell?
Case is headstamped: 105mm T33 Case 1952. BUE-11-16...
Stencilled: CTG XM 461 SHELL INERT? LOADED LIGHT BODY FOR HOW 105MM
Primer: PA-102-1 M1B1A2 8-56
