Hello

A new find from trash: two 30x173mm casing with a Mk15 link. One is made of steel and the other is made of ... copper? anyway, a non-magnetic metal.

The steel made one has marking on it's bottom (30x173 and 02-SB-13), the other (with the link) hasn't any marking on its bottom, but one is printed on his side (see picture).

On the link we can read : "Mk15-ALK" and something like a serial number.

My question ; is it for M44 Bushmaster2 gun? and can the printed marking helps for finding the country?

Some pics:

Best regards from France

The MK15 belt link is used in the MK44 Bushmaster and GAU-23.
But the steel case is for the Mauser MK-30-2 and needs a DM170 belt link.
