two nice WW1 British Amunition factory pictures

hope it has not been posted before but here are two very nice high res pictures of british ammunition factories:

I could imagine that the first picture shows 18-pr shrapnel shells with fixed but not machined driving bands and the machines are special simple lathes only for turning the driving band profile. I guess the boxes on the floor contain copper chips.
