U.S. 1 pounder shells

I ran across a couple of US WW1 1 pounder shells for sale at GWM. The price is 65.00 US for the one and 85.00 US for the other. Their descriptions are as follows.

Shell 1 = 85.00: SHELL - (full cartridge), unfired (inert), marked on shell head base: " 1 -PDR. MK. V -17 THE TOLEDO SCREW PRODUCTS CO./ LOT 127 (has PD fuze which comes to a point), so this is an HE round. Case marked "WMFG Co./ 12 1917/ 1PR/ LOT 19 (naval anchor)/ JBS

Shell 2 = 65.00: Shell (full cartridge) all inert 37mm, HE base fuzed, primer removed from case, marked on shell head base "STEEL SHELL MARK/ P.E.&M Co/ brass base fuze marked "M-1". Case marked "WPS Co/ 1 PDR/ LOT 151/ (anchor)/ JBS/ 1917

I'm trying to decide which to buy. Both are shells I don't have but can't afford both. Any recommendations on which one to get? Dano

This is a U.S.N. Practice round for the subcaliber gun. It has a solid nose that unscrews on the first issues, then not. These are hollow and empty not an explosive round. I am offering the same thing in the classifieds , take a look.

This is an army projectile in a Navy case. The Navel issue of this projectile is marked 1 Pdr. MKll or 1Pdr. MKll MOD1 , If the fuse is complete it is worth getting as those are scarce.

The "MK1 Steel Shell projectile" goes into the 37x92 Model 1916 case.

The Navy case takes the MKll - 1pdr., MK T MK V - 1 pdr.Target, MKVll - Luiquid Tracer & MKVlll - Practice (for Heavy Maxim or QF gun) projectile.
