U.S. M11AIII practice rifle grenade

The U.S. M11AIII is the practice version of the M9 anti-tank grenade. It has a cast iron head with a sheet metal tail. The M9 was the first anti-tank grenade. although it used a shape charge warhead, the nose mounted impact fuze reduced effectiveness. there were allso problems with detonation. they were only used for about 2 years after their 1940 debut. To me this grenade has tremendous "eye appeal" or as the kids might say bitchin' or bad ass. this is one i'm debateing on whether or not to restore (stenciling etc...)...Dano
