U.S. M67/M69 hand grenades

This post is of no particular value. If anything it is to try and help keep my sanity because as many of you may know I recently got "boned" in a trade deal where I was supposed to get a good stenciled M67. Kind of a be thankful for what you have type of thing. The grenade 2nd from left is an M67 and the rest are the practice M69's. I talked to the guy on the phone that I made the trade with to see if he would make it right, and he hung up on me! Been burned a couple of times here of late. Don't really blame him as I just don't think he "gets it" (long story). Anyway I think the U.S. baseballs were designed as a replacement to the lemon series because of better fragmentation. Aah, I think I feel better already. Cheero....Dano

Don't stress Dano, the next marked M67 I find I'll give you first shot at unless you find another one first. It will all work out, it's just a matter of time.

I really appreciate that Justin, but fact is I don't even want one anymore. There are so many other "fish to fry" that I think i'll be happy with the unmarked one I have. Also, once I get ripped off on a particular piece I just lose my thirst to get another. Just another one of my backward collecting habits. Thank you just the same....Dano

I understand your frustration Dano. If I come across one I'll let you know anyway. Once you have a legitimate marked example available to you, you may change your mind. Besides, no Vietnam collection is complete without this iconic type.

Appreciated greatly Justin, you never know but really think I am okay with my unmarked M67, may even try a "resto" on it and apply stenciling. I am okay with that as long as it is on an original grenade. I am really looking for a VC MIN mine!! Dano

next gren you see dan that you like give one of us a shout to check it out before you part with your hard earned $$$$
Cheers, Paul.
