Ub M24

Heres a couple of Ub M24 grenades,I posted the brb1944 dated handle in a previous thread and it was spotted by a fellow collector that just happened to have a 1944 dated can to match it and after a little horse trading I was able to mate the two together making one very nice late war grenade. I have it pictured with my RR1940 Handle and brb41 Can,Note the construction of the cans, the early one has separate rivets and the later example has dimples pressed into the can resembling the rivets of the earlier can in the same fashion as seen on the Brass cans, the thread connector on the handle has "pierced tab" attachment to the handle as did the later production M24 Grenades, the bottom thread and closing cap appear to be zinc plated and attached with small nails like the early M24 grenades also NO varnish on the late production unit...things were getting tight! But still a quality built item . I would be very interested to see other variations of the M24 Ub grenade,in particular early ones with the loop on the head ( if you have a spare let me know) and late war examples to see what manufacturing variations/differences there are.
Anyone have a nice original training charge for one of these baby's?

Cheers
