I purchased these two cases yesterday and today I got the story straight !
I found the Air Commodore, there are a lot of them to look through, but here he is on an important commitee. (attached)
The smaller case was issued to but never used by Col. (Ret. now) Michael C. McHenry, Military attache with the U. S. Embassy 1992 - 1995.
He had obtained the Air Commodores case while stationed in the UK. Both had been stored in his garage for years and his wife he
tells me will be glad they are gone. I am glad that he had such a dry and spotless garage ! I obtained both cases from Col. McHenry yesterday at a military type show at which everthing is generally too costly for me (or any sane person), but these were quite modestly priced. I had to go back to the show today and get the proper details of who owned what which I should have done yesterday of course. But better a forgotten Air Commodore than a forgotten nameless civil servant ~
Both be keepers now !

Does any one have a clue as to what these are worth realistcally ?
