UK Percussion Igniter MkIII
Used as a manually operated fuze igniter it could also be employed as a boobytrap device to initiate mines etc
Removal of the safety pin causes the striker to move forwards under spring pressure onto a persussion cap in the fuze adapter firing the fuze or detonator fitted to the adapter
Pull required to function 2 1/4lb
