Can somebody tell me what kinde of projectile is this? The company ROTH made some projectiles with base fuse and nose fuse but this one doesnt have any of these.DSC_0021.jpgDSC_0022.JPG

It sure looks like a projectile for the Austrian m15 trench gun but I have never seen a solid shot for the gun. I have 10 different types, and have seen a couple of more, but no solid shot. It would seem improbable as the gun was low velocity and there were few, if any tanks in the Alps. But here it is. It might be post ww1 as the Czechs got a bunch of the guns as WW1 booty and could have been experimenting with it.

Hello,
this shell represent the long base fuzed shell, it has same lenght. could you weigh it?
the absence of marking and the solid form, make me thinking a practice shell.
If you find it in Slovenia it's almost surely Austro Hungarian or at least Italian.
best regards

Hello,
thanks for your time spent, I weighed mine, range between 565 and 590 grams. So your could be a practice one.
regards

I also have a solid shot practice. When I first got it, I thought it may had been filled with lead, but it's just a solid shot.
