Unknow Brass Artillery practice shell, tool?

Hello all,

I found this piece with the scrap metal. Since I coudn't find anything about it, I wondered if anyone can id this piece.

It is a heavy brass piece. hollow inside.
It's 262 mm long and the diameter at the lower part is 88 mm , the middle is 99 mm and the top part has a diameter of 90 mm.
the inscriptions say:

TOOL ARTY No86
M.K. 1 <-

D.E.6 1937

Any ideas?

Hi, This is one of the tools for removing the barrel on a 25 pounder part number CM 1780. Is it for sale?
