today seen at the antiques dealer, size around 80mm. what is it?

Less odd than a GDR made 82mm illuminating proj. with pyrotechnical delay elements in the rear cone (1-3). The top was a hollow aluminum cap that is blown forward with the illum arrangement when set off.
