Hi All another recent find that I need help identifying.

It looks to be a 25mm Hotchkiss case that has been recovered from the sea. It had the remains of a heavily corroded projectile in it that had swelled with rust and expanded the neck. The combination of swelling and corrosion has embrittled the neck so I will not be attempting to re-form it.

I do not recognise the headstamp. Any of you able to do this I would be very grateful.

Regards

It's Japanese

As stated it is a 25mm Japanese Hotchkiss AA case.
Showa 6/18 = June 1943. 2 bands on anchor = Kure Navy Arsenal and acceptance mark.
The case neck is always swelled as the lower drive band is inside the case neck.
