Unknown 30 mm LV cases

Sorcerer

Well-Known Member
Hello,

Can anyone help me with the identification of these unusual 30mm LV cases? From the left:

30x113 B DEFA 550 standard case for the scale
30x114 B, teflon coated steel case, headstamp EPO 54. Could it be an American FAT 15 case? I know only a brass one..
"30x117,5 B" unknown Dummy,
30x123 B, factory new steel case, no headstamp
30x127 B standard round for the scale

Thanks

Hello Tony
No further info .....i don't know where i got the details but i have had it listed for some years.
As ... 30x123B x33 PRC exp Aden-type aircraft gun
Recently acquired Jans Janssens "Big Gun Shell Case" book also lists it (with a 33.1mm rim).
As you know, PRC has many experimentals based on NATO or other foreign guns, so it is not implausible ...
Close to a 39x126B long WECOM case.

Edited.... just found it in Hawkinson list mentioning extra thick case.
Probably where i first learnt of it (?)
