Hi there,
Can anyone help me identify this shell casing please....
It has 40mm 4, lot 54, ECC, a half circle with the letter "C" and then what looks like a capital "F" that is laying down. On the fuse or det it has finely stamped 12, III but written Roman style, BB4L R, then 241 CY 4/50. (Maybe the 4/50 means April 1950 when it was produced.....)
It measures 245mm long or 9 3/4".
Weighs in at 800 grams or about 1 3/4 lbs.
Many thnx Folks...!
