Unknown 45mm APFSDS (German?)

Hello all, I recently acquired an APFSDS penetrator with two different sabots. The sabots measure 45mm in diameter. The shape of the sabots is very similar in shape to modern German APFSDS-T rounds. The penetrator seems to be steel with an aluminum ballistic nose and crude steel fins. Diameter of the penetrator is 13mm. 45mm is not a common German or NATO caliber. Could this be some sort of test type, or experimental?

I thought some of you would like to see these. They're 45mm apfsds test projectiles. I understand although can't confirm this with any reference material that they were used in the development of full sized apfsds tank projectiles. The darts range in length from 125mm to 200mm long. Any further...
