Unknown 60mm type ?

Does anyone recognize this body, only mark seems to be a letter Y ?
6 1/2" in length.

The body shape seems to match a white phosphorous projectile, maybe this is an older version as it does not have the grooves
in the body. It fits a 75mm adapter ring of all things.
