Unknown 75mm case

I came across this case and initially thought it was a British 13pdr field gun case (76.2x313). However, it is longer at 333mm with a rim of 92mm and mouth of 75 or 76mm. The only markings on the base are L10 and a triangle, which does not give us much to go on! At some point it has been screwed to a base, hence the additional holes to the primer which would indicate that it was brought home as a souvenir. I think that the paint on the base is original but I cannot discern a meaning. For comparison it is pictured alongside a Russian 76.2x 385 and a British 13pdr. Glad to have your thoughts and an identification if possible.

Hi, the L10 and the triangular mark reminds of a large cut down 12cm Schneider case I had with L15 and the same mark - I have seen on many French cases the L preceding the date, so it could be a 1910 case made by Schneider...although the French 75mm Guns of WW1 had a slightly longer case, so it could have been made for a different nation. I don't profess to know a lot about this, but this might give you a few extra direction pointers to get you started, or jog somebody else's memory !!
Good luck with the hunt !!!
