Unknown 75mm

I picked up this 75mm solid shot projectile with what appears to be a tracer element on the base. The only markings are on the base I think I have encountered the CY marking before on an American made 47mm. The projectile is 9 inches in length.

i might be wrong, but M79 AP shot for Sherman 75mm?

The 75mm shot is the M72.
