Recently saw this 81 mm Mortar for sale. According to the seller these were given to the Rhodesian troops of the Rhodesian Light Infantry on completion of there 3 1/2 years service.

The mortar is chromed.

"THESE PRESENTATION MORTARS WERE PRESENTED TO R.L.I TROOPS FOR THREE AND A HALF YEARS OF SERVICE.".

Any ideas on what type it is and a possible value?

I think I have started to talk to my self. I just assumed that the seller was correct and that it is an 81 mm Mortar, but I checked some other photos and I think it could possibly be an 82 mm Russian or Chinese mortar ?

I don't seem to be able to load any more photos. Maybe by box is full ?

I think it is very similar to the french 81mm Mle 57 FA with fuze V19
