Unknown aluminium flare?

I found these walking in the woods and was wondering if anyone could Identify them. I made a youtube vid for it, so here's the link.

I've never come across one of these before. Looks like a flare cartridge and looks like it takes a sort of .22 cartridge in the bottom. Maybe a larger variant of the pen flare?

Though I do not know what it is it looks a bit like an internal flare container of a cal4 which expelled it's stars after a certain flight time (due to a delay train).

Thanks to everyone, It seems to be the inner tube of a Czech parachute flare, that is launched from a flare gun. Just saw a video on it.
