Hello all, I've been meaning to put this up for ages but never got round to it until now. Internet a little sporadic here so apologies for possible late reply.
The guy I got this off in Germany said he got it from someone who dealt exclusively in Rheinmetall leftover bits, and reckoned it was for the L7. Not sure myself, could be anything. Rod apparently tungsten, certainly very dense, fins aluminium I think. It's been fired and the tip has sheared off, but other than that and a little bend in it its not too bad overall. Sabot grip runs for about 10 inches.
Any information gratefully received!

It is the DM 33 from 120 mm gun from Leopard-2

Ah that's great. Do you have any idea how much is missing from the tip? I'd love to rebuild mine at some point

The total length is 65 cm.
