Can someone tell me what this is please ? It has no markings at all & is a thick bodied HE round measuring 2.988" diam. x 7.72" long . Could it be an 18Pr ? Thanks for any help.

Hum Siegfried,
with the dimensions you give, it will be more a 15 pdr or more a 13 pdr !
Is there a middel channel like for a schrapnell shell or is it all glad inside ?
I'll look for more info this evening or tomorrow !

Yoda . Thanks for that . Here's a scan of the inside . It weighs nearly 10Lbs so I would assume it may be a 13Pr ? Siegfreid

This looks like a cartets/fire grenade, on top of it belongs a rond plate whit a hollow messing pipe, inside de shell are steal pellets [ ca 0.5-1cm]images fr.jpg
