Unknown bomb/nade

I got this unknown item brought to me by the post man. I don’t know anything about it and would like to know what this is.
As you can se from the picture its egg shaped and it is probably a smoke grenade of some type. Its aprox14 cm long and aprox 7-8 cm wide. The weight now is aprox 0,5-1 kilo. It feels like half of it is just dead weight. The hole at the top has some threads in it so probably a fuze or a rod is removed. It’s found at a dumping area her in Norway and it could be Norwegian, German or British.
It has none marks or stamping what so ever and the top half has lost its paint probably due to heat. It’s little paint left which is lighter than the bottom half but this could be caused of the heat to. Anyone got a clue?

Cheers
Freaky
