Can any of you air dropped experts out there give me an ID on this please, these pictures were sent to me and it really is not my area of expertise, I was given approximate dimensions of 90cm x 18cm.

Pretty sure its the tail of a 8 inch reconnaissance flare No 2 Mk 2.
