Complete length: 118 cm
Diameter : 20 cm
Tail length : 71,5 cm

Thanks in advance,
Regards, DJH

Hi!
Interesting bomb.
Can you furnish some details about where this bomb was found/ is presently?

It's an interesting design, the rear part of the bomb and its tail arrangement have something in common with post ww2 chinese bombs as seen in the following photograph :
The Chinese design is supposed to have been copied on Soviet FAB models sucha as the FAB-50 ShG of 1943 - however there is photographic evidence that the Chinese began developing such a design already in the early 1930s when the soviet still used drop-shaped bomb bodies and not cylindrical ones:

Hi pzgr40

Can you measure the thread on that piece and its type for the fuse, ideally the small diameter and the large one?

It is painted with paint for ,,museum,, but you do not go any inscriptions, marks, etc. ?

I was intrigued by the rear cylindrical part before stabilization ...are there visible holes in the body perpendicular to the longitudinal part are blind or have some banity -maybe better photo fines it goes ?
