Unknown British ammo box

Unknown british ammo box.It is found with a metal detector for 15years ago.it was filled with almost 1100,303 belted cartridges.Box is made of rustless steel

Its off an aircraft, but wether its bomber or fighter i'm not sure. Looks too big for a fighter though.
