Is it possible to say anything about this case? I have been told that the case is circa 155x85 mm. Thanks in advance!

It should be 152 mm wide (not 155 mm) and 85 mm long. Sorry for the wrong measurements! Could it be a Russian case?
 
It is Russian post war but the dimensions you state do not exist as far as I know (assuming you mean 85 cm high and not 85 mm), so I think the case is cut down. Do you have measurements for the bottom? This might help to identify.
 
Many thanks for your answer! And yes, the case is 85 cm long and it has been cut down. I will try to find out the measurement of the bottom.
