Unknown Chinese Nationalist Grenade

Here are some pics of a grenade I've recently added to my collection, and what was called by my far away seller and good friend...a 30's -40's era Nationalist Chinese grenade.
I think surely it's a "sling grenade" that would have had a rope or cloth, maybe a chain attached to eyelet on the end, then it would swung around your head and released at the right time....hopefully :afraid:
It's made from steel or iron, and weighs a hefty 705 grams, the hole is threaded for a fuze...... I think maybe an impact type fuze was used? It's shown next to a M39 egg grenade for size comparison.

Does anyone have any good period photos, diagrams or information of what the fuzes for these grenades looked like. I would like to make a repro fuze, as I'll probably never find an original. I would also like to attach a proper looking rope on it, most probably was a hemp type rope. I imagine these might not be too common, I can't find much info, and the only other one I have seen that's similar is on Lex's site, and that has a star marking on it I believe.

Maybe someone has more info????
