Here is a firing device I got. I have no idea what country or nomenclature. It looks very closely like the DUM-47, but I don't think it is it.

Any ideas?

I have attached images and an X-ray.

The DUM-47 is a yugoslavian Mine fuze. The construction of it is very similar but it doesn't have the ring on it.

New update ... it is a pressure release ... when the wire is removed from around the item and the metal sides move outward (ever so slightly) then the lock balls move outward and the firing pin goes home.

Now to see if I can reset the thing.

Resetting the thing is pretty easy, the difficulty is the wrap around wire safety. This is impossible to place back around the item tight enough. I will post pictures of the item showing the lock-balls under the metal portion tomarrow.
