Unknown Grenade.

Hello all. I saw this unusual grenade at a show this past weekend. The seller didn't know the identification so I took a picture hoping I could ID it later. It's a heavy unpainted serrated iron warhead with large threaded openings at both ends. The top is fitted with a broken zink transit plug. The other opening at bottom is slightly larger and finely threaded. I am assuming this is WWI era and at one time possibly had a wood handle. Anybody know what this is? Bulgarian?

Thank you!!

Yep, that's exactly what it is, a Lancaster grenade body. So the big question is...did you buy it Jim?
