Could someone identify this heavy steel transportation box.
Top has a handle and both sides a handle.
The holes must have been for wood inserts to keep the stuff inside on its place. 3 Layers in the box and one on the lid.
Outside dimensions 23 x 16 cm and height 48,5 cm
Inside dimensions are 22 x 13 cm and height 46 cm...
If 6 shells would have been inside (2 x 3) then the rimm of these should not have been larger than 65 mm...
I wonder if it is worth restauration...?
